Congratulations: President Barack Obama

As we celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Inauguration of President Barack Obama, there is a sense of Optimism in the air.  As we have been so disappointed by our Leadership over and over again the election Process of Democracy has made available a new start with the very Essence of who we as Americans really are was put under the telescope of rime as the very fate of our future and gloom of our past hold hands as today we journey on to our tomorrow. As we celebrate the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on a national holiday dedicated to his honor, many people point to this historical inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.  To many, this serves as evidence of how far this country has come in terms of race relations since the days of the Civil Rights struggle led by Dr. King. Many see Obama’s election as the fulfillment of Dr. King’s dream. As they would point out, {finally} here is a man who has been judged based on the content of his character, and not on the color of his skin. Could anything be more representative of the fulfillment of Dr. King’s dream than that?

Congratulations, President - Barack Obama!
