Christmas, 2010

November 30, 2010

In the midst of all that exist in America and our world of the Christmas season can sober us .  For it is a time of excitement, yet serenity, and a time of anticipation, then the realization of the most blessed Gift that could ever come to mankind, Jesus Christ, the Son of God grips us . I want to encourage you to remember to keep Christ in all you do and say while you are going through your Christmas activities.  It is important to remember that great ministry opportunities exist at this time of year as many people are struggling with depression and loneliness as memories of what “used to be” are filling their minds. By keeping Christ first, we can be sure to reach out to those around us, (yes, even those who are rude) with the true message of Christmas, and that is that Jesus Christ came to earth to seek and to save that which was lost. Take the time as well to be faithful to your church, as well as remember to pray and study the Word of God to Spiritually prepare you to share the true meaning of Christmas.  Be sure to invite a friend to our upcoming services. This is one of the greatest times of the year in our church so let's take this opportunity to share it.
May God richly bless you and Happy Holidays
Your Pastor, His Servant
